Rio samba rose purchase

I gave it a lot more room than the first had and it is in an area with full sun all day. Spring growth is very vigorous and a couple years it was the first of our 'big' roses to bloom (minis are always the first to bloom here). RS gets 5 feet tall x 4 -5 feet wide for us. Blackspot is not a problem here.ĭeb would have a dozen of them if we had room. New foliage will show some powdery mildew occasionally but not bad. A vigorous grower in spring after pruning, foliage is thick and lush. It is a bloom factory (50 to 70 blooms per flush with fast turnaround time - about 5 weeks from start of one flush to start of the next) and smells as great as any of our Gamble Award winners. RS survived a couple winters before I began winter mounding. Deb's #1 favorite rose, Rio Samba was one of the first gaudy blends she brought to the yard.
